We are currently looking for a high calibre to fill the position of Environmental Programme Manager. The Environmental Programme Manager reports directly to CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

Works cooperatively as a strong leader in the Environmental Programme team as it:
- Performs critical analysis of Civic Exchange's Environment programme and works with CEO to develop the direction and priorities of the programme going forward;
- Manages all aspects of the programme including working with multi-skilled trans-national teams to undertake research, undertake events, solicit opinion and propose workable solutions on environmental issues;
- Prepares proposals and makes oral presentations to funders and other interested parties and works creatively and respectfully with funders; and
- Participates as an active and knowledgeable member of the environmental community at large, including other think tanks, foundations, governmental agencies, policy makers and nongovernmental organisations.

- Has personal and professional commitment to the environment.
- At least 5 years programme and policy experience.
- Highly developed skills and instincts concerning policy development and changes.
- Ability to manage research projects and teams including volunteers and often involving multinational teams located around the world.
- Undergraduate degree is required and an advanced degree in a relevant field is preferred.

* Employment arrangement is that of a consultant on a contract basis which means the consultant will be responsible for all taxes and other relevant obligations.
